Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board was formed in accordance with the Section 5 of the Electricity Supply Act 1948 as per the Notification published in the gazette of the Government of Chhattisgarh dated 15th November 2000. Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board (CSEB) became functional w.e.f. 01-12-2000.
Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board has been recoganized into following five companies in accordance with provisions contained in the Section 131-134 of Electricity Act 2003 by the Govt. of Chhattisgarh vide Notificaion dated 19-12-2008.

Application Fee: Candidates required to pay Application Rs.700- for General, OBC category and Rs.500/- for SC,ST category of Chhattisgarh State through State Bank of India Challan deposit details shall be automatically uploaded in the second step of online application form after 48 hrs.
Selection Process: The candidates will be selected through written test and oral Interview. The shortlisted candidates from the written test will be called for an oral interview. The final selection will be made on the basis of the aggregate marks secured by the candidates in both written test and oral interview.

How to Apply for CSEB Recruitment 2014
Candidates are required to apply Online through CSPHCL website http://www.cseb.gov.in only from 10-11-2014 to 09-12-2014.Online Application Process:
STEP-I
- Visit CSPHCL website www.cseb.gov.in and going to the tab "Recruitment"
- First, the candidate has to sign up with valid Email ID. After sign up system will generate user name and password and sent to their email ID. Now candidate has to login again as a registered user and fill the details in the application for completion of Step-I.
- On completion of Step-I, a message will be received in candidate's registered email ID conveying his/her registration and a link for printing the bank challan to deposit the application fee.
- The candidate should deposit the requisite examination fee and bank charges by presenting the bank challan.
STEP-II
- Candidate may check and confirm their payment status after 48 hours of the deposit.
- Clear scanned copies of lasets photograph and signature of self. (The Size of photograph file should be between 20kb-50kb and Dimensions 150W X 200H pixels).(The Size of Signature file should be between 10kb-20kb and Dimension 140W X 60H pixels) file should be JPEG format.
- After the registration is confirmed by the system after completion of STEP-II, system generated E-mail will be sent to candidates registered email. The mail will contain a copy of information filled by the cndidte. The candidate should kept a copy of this application form. This should NOT be sent to CSPHCL.
