1. Key Pad Player: 01 Post
2. Guitarist (Base Guitarist): 01 Post
Age Limit: Candidates age should be 18 to 33 years as on 01-01-2015. (Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ ST and by 3 years for OBC candidates.)
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Matriculation or equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board/ university (a pass in matriculation or equivalent in case of SC/ ST candidates), the minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is not essential for candidates who possess higher qualification (i.e., above matriculation), Degree/ Diploma Certificate in the relevant stream from a Govt. recognized institute, Candidates should be able to perform in at least one more discipline/stream, preference will be given to candidates having proficiency in other musical streams as well.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in Objective type written test, Proficiency test and Written Examination.
Application Fee: Candidates need to pay by an Indian Postal Order (IPO) of 100 (Rupees one hundred) only drawn in favour of “FA&CAO, NF Railway, Maligaon, Guwahati – 781 011, Assam” payable at Maligaon HQ Post Office, Guwahati – 781 011. Candidates must write their name and full address in the postal order. SC/ ST candidates, women, minorities and economically backward classes are exempted from payment of application fee.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format along with all copies of certificates regarding age, educational qualification and other essential qualifications, two recent (of within two months) passport size photographs with name written on the top of the photograph should be clipped along with the application form duly attested by a gazetted officer so as to reach Senior Personnel Officer (Recruitment), N. F. Railway HQ, Maligaon, Guwahati, Assam, PIN – 781 011 by post or should be dropped in the APPLICATION BOX provided in the Recruitment Section, Office of the Chief Personnel Officer, Maligaon, Guwahati, Assam on or before 27-10-2014 by 17.30 Hrs. Application should be filled by the candidate in own handwriting in blue or black ball-point pen using good quality A-4 size papers and application should be sent in an envelope superscribed “APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT AGAINST CULTURAL QUOTA”.
